Learn to brew beer at home with Garrett Pederson, head brewer and cofounder of 9 Mile Legacy in Saskatoon. In this class we will be using a Kolsch kit from Paddock Wood Brewing and modifying it with the addition of specialty grains and a variety of hops to transform it into a summery New England IPA.

A second video and instruction document about the bottling phase will be sent to you when our brew is done and we’ve had a chance to film it. It is included in this price.
Skill Level: Intermediate
A portion of the proceeds from each class will be donated to the Friendship Inn in Saskatoon.
Equipment: You will need to purchase about $100 or ingredients and $250-$400 worth of equipment to do this class. You get 65 bottles of beer from this brew and the equipment can be used again and again. We provide a list of exactly what you need and where to get it.
Time: Brewing time is approx. 5 - 6 hours but varies depending on:

How much beer you are enjoying while following along
Allow 7-10 days for fermenting , a couple hours for bottling and then a couple more weeks for carbonation. Patience is a virtue…order some 9 Mile beer delivery while you wait! Your beer will be ready for summer!
