We have reformulated our brownies to be more like the traditional brownie bar.  We still love having a cream cheese filling in our brownies to offset all of that melted chocolate, but now it is swirled in the brownie rather than an icing on top.  For added variety we flavour the cream cheese filling with different flavour profiles such as nutella, maple or mint...whatever catches our fancy for the month.
